SOME OF OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Where do we begin?

Remodeling a kitchen can be an overwhelming experience—we can help you make the process feel manageable. We begin by going to your home to do a free measurement (within 30 minutes of our location) of your space. One of our designers will then create a computerized layout of your project. We’ll invite you to our showroom to discuss the design and provide you with ballpark pricing on cabinetry and countertops. We are happy to work with your contractor or recommend one to you for the remodel.  Once you decide to go with MKC Kitchens, we will ask for a retainer fee (which will be applied to your cabinetry total) and continue to work out the final layout details.  Our designers are available during the project to answer your or your contractor’s questions regarding the design.

Do you offer installation?

Yes, we do install the cabinetry we offer.  We do not offer full or partial remodels.  Our staff can recommend professional contractors for your kitchen or bathroom remodels.

Can you help us with new construction?

Absolutely! We are happy to work with your plans to design your dream kitchen, bath, desk or wall unit from the ground up.

What products do you offer?

We offer several different cabinet lines, including Showplace Cabinetry, Medallion Cabinetry and Mountaineer Cabinetry, enabling us to tailor your project to your taste and budget. We also carry many countertop materials including granite, quartz (Cambria®, CaesarStone®, Zodiac®), solid surface (Corian®), laminates (Formica®, WilsonArt®), and butcher block.

Can we use our own installer?

Yes! We offer great factory direct prices and are happy to answer questions you or your installer may have during the process.

Do you design rooms other than kitchens and baths?

Yes! We can help you with office spaces, mudrooms, laundry rooms, libraries, bars, entertainment units, and much more.

Can you help us with just a countertop?

Certainly. We are happy to assist you with just replacing a countertop.
